Cola is a secluded beach divided into North Cola and South Cola, with a small hill separating the two areas. Its signature feature is the emerald-green freshwater lagoon, sometimes called the Blue Lagoon or Emerald Lagoon, which runs alongside the beach before reaching the sea. Local Insider Tip
Cola is in the Canacona area of South Goa, roughly 10 km from Agonda and around 15 km from Palolem. The final approach involves a narrow, uneven road, so drive slowly and expect rough sections. If you don't want to take the rough road, local boats can sometimes take visitors from Agonda or Palolem to Cola during the tourist season.

Best Time to Visit
November to February is the best overall period to visit, with pleasant weather, drier roads and generally better beach conditions. October to March is also a good wider window. The monsoon months can make access difficult and sea conditions rough, so they are not ideal for a conventional beach visit.
