Kakolem Beach is a small sandy cove framed by dramatic cliffs, rocks and greenery. Its remote location gives it a much quieter and more natural character than Goa's popular tourist beaches. One of its distinctive natural features is a small freshwater stream that flows down the hillside toward the sea.
Local Insider Tip
Wear comfortable footwear because the approach and descent can be challenging. Carry sufficient drinking water and snacks, as facilities at the beach can be limited. It is best to start your return journey well before dark because the climb back can be difficult in low light.
